Review and administration

Review a case and record the decision

Every serious decision requires a reason, reviewer note, confirmation, notification preview and audit record.

6 minute read · AllSpace guide

Before you begin

Use the matching reviewer role. AI risk indicators are hints only; the human reviewer records every final decision.

How to get there

Choose the directions for the device you are using.

On a computer

From Review desk, open a permitted queue. Use Search cases or Case status, choose Inspect evidence, and then choose Review decision. Listing risks also offers Inspect case.

On a phone

Open Reviews, choose a queue from Administration section, use Inspect evidence, and then choose Review decision. Listing risks also offers Inspect case.

You are in the right place when

The decision dialog shows Decision, Reason, Reviewer note, a user-notification preview and a final confirmation control.

Follow these steps

  1. 1

    Inspect the available evidence

Open the correct queue and choose Inspect evidence. In Listing risks, you may also choose Inspect case to compare images, duplicate groups and advisory risk signals. AI and risk signals are hints; they never make the decision.

  2. 2

    Choose a decision and reason

Choose Review decision. Select an available Decision and the Reason that best matches the evidence. If the reason is Other, write a clear public-safe explanation.

  3. 3

    Write a useful reviewer note

Explain what you checked and why the decision fits. The note needs at least ten characters and should not simply repeat the selected reason.

  4. 4

    Review the user message

Read the user-notification preview. Request evidence also needs public-safe instructions of 15–500 characters. Flag, pause, remove or reject on a listing needs a public owner message of 15–500 characters.

  5. 5

    Confirm and inspect the audit

Select I reviewed the evidence and notification, and confirm this decision, then choose Confirm decision. Audit history records the time, reviewer, previous and new states, reason, note and notification.

  6. 6

Decide a listing appeal in the legal queue

A legal reviewer opens Legal & appeals, inspects the owner's appeal and original decision, then chooses Restore listing or Uphold decision in Review decision. The listing keeps its current state until that confirmed decision.

What happens next?

Choose a reason, write what you checked, review the notification and confirm. Audit history records the reviewer, time, before and after states, reason and note.

Picture this

A reviewer compares two similar listing photos, checks the address and posting history, then records a pause with a clear evidence note.

If you get stuck

If a serious decision is unavailable because evidence is missing, choose Request evidence and write the requested public instructions. Cancel leaves the case unchanged. If the case or role changed, reopen it before deciding.
